Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a part-time EKG Technician for night shifts to monitor noninvasive cardiac activity and other clinical parameters across diverse patient populations. You will interpret rhythm strips and promptly hand off critical alarms to the nursing team.

Responsibilities include maintaining data for the patient’s chart via EMR and generating daily monitoring reports. Prior Holter/telemetry experience and CRAT certification are preferred, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience; EKG/telemetry roles preferred.
• Previous Holter scanning or telemetry experience preferred.
• CRAT or Cardiovascular Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor noninvasive cardiac activity and clinical parameters via continuous ECG and pulse oximetry.
• Interpret cardiac rhythm and hand off alarms to nursing staff as needed.
• Maintain monitoring data and provide daily reports to the EMR.
