Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking an EKG Technician to support noninvasive lab services in Troy, Michigan. The role involves performing electrocardiograms across multiple settings and maintaining related equipment and inventory.

Responsibilities include clerical tasks, data entry in EPIC, and ensuring accurate test ordering and billing. A high school diploma and EKG training are required, with CPR certification preferred; prior EKG experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG training, either an exclusive EKG training program or as part of other educational programs.
• Prior work experience that included performing EKGs may be considered as fulfillment of this requirement.
• Required 6 months of relevant experience
• Six months of experience as an EKG technician preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required by AHA or ARC.

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Scope of Work

• Performs clerical duties such as computer entry, filing, recording, and mailing and reports as needed.
• Complete all test orders in EPIC to ensure appropriate charges are processed.

Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required Completion of EKG training, either an exclusive EKG training program or as part of other educational programs.
• Prior work experience that included performing EKGs may be considered as fulfillment of this requirement.
• Required 6 months of relevant experience
• Six months of experience as an EKG technician preferred.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross required
