Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Southern California is seeking an EKG technician to support clinical cardiology services. You will obtain artifact-free electrocardiography, perform holter monitoring, and prepare patients and rooms for ECG testing while ensuring accurate documentation.

You will communicate with patients and healthcare teams, standby in codes or cardioversion, maintain clean equipment, and participate in teaching patients about electrocardiography, under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Artifact-free electrocardiography performed accurately.
• Ability to perform EKGs in codes or cardioversion.
• Prepare patient and room for ECG testing and ensure allergy checks.
• Document procedures in the patient database daily.
• Maintain clean, stocked equipment in good working order.
• Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtains artifact-free electrocardiography.
• Performs Holter monitors and EKG testing as required.
• Prepares patient and equipment for ECG procedures.
• Documents and processes procedures in the database daily.
• Supports billing processes and patient education on ECG.
