Job summary

El Camino Health in Mountain View is seeking an EKG Technician to record electrocardiograms, set up Holter Monitors and Signal Average EKGs for inpatients, outpatients, and the Emergency Department, under physician orders. Qualifications

• 2 yrs of college or enrollment in an accredited Medical technology program.
• Minimum one (1) year clinical experience in EKG and/or an EKG externship certification.
• Experience with Holter Monitor and Signal Average preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Record electrocardiograms (EKG) for inpatients, outpatients and Emergency Department as ordered by the physician.
• Set up Holter Monitors and Signal Average EKGs.
• Be prepared to work across El Camino Hospital campuses (Mountain View and Los Gatos) or within a 15-mile radius as needed.
