Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality cardiac and vascular imaging for adult patients. Responsibilities include performing two-dimensional echocardiography, Doppler techniques, and assist with stress echo protocols as needed. ARDMS/CCI certification within 1 year and BLS are required.

Certifications: ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year
Education: Sonography or Related field
Work Experience: Accepts New Grads

Responsibilities

Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, along with identifying EKG abnormalities and/or arrhythmia.
Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patients in performance of everyday duties and responsibilities.
Understands complementing imaging and/or doppler techniques, including when to use these methods to investigate specific clinical questions.
Operates the ultrasound equipment, including the function of all controls affecting the quality of the data displayed.

Education

Sonography or Related field

ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year

BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
