Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, in Southborough, MA, seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to support the Cardiology department. You will perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies, document findings in the EMR, and help deliver accurate diagnostic information and high-quality patient care.

This role offers a 24-hour work week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You will work within ICAEL standards, focus on cardiac imaging, and participate in ongoing professional development and education

Qualifications

• RDCS certification required.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• Proven ability to perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasounds following established procedures.
• Document readings, measurements, and technical information in the EMR.
• Route echocardiogram reports to the assigned physician for interpretation.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while meeting ICAEL standards and requirements.
• Provide patient education and follow established health, safety, regulatory, and departmental procedures.
• Maintain professional development through education, seminars, meetings, and conferences.
