Optima Medical in Arizona is seeking a Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including echocardiography and vascular studies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic data for cardiovascular and vascular conditions.

The role requires proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiography and vascular exams, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of practical experience as a Sonographer.
• 10 months experience in a clinical setting as Cardiac/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficient in Echocardiography (ECHO) and Vascular examinations.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to cardiac/vascular systems.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart (echocardiography) and blood vessels (vascular ultrasound).
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address concerns.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment following safety protocols.
• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images and document findings.
• Maintain high image quality and adhere to protocols and quality control measures.
• Document patient information and findings in EMR or paper records.
• Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and guidelines.
• Educate patients on the purpose of the procedure and provide information.
• Adhere to safety regulations and infection control procedures.
