Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach seeks an Echocardiographer to perform Echo and Stress Echo studies, including Doppler and TEE, across multiple labs and at the bedside. The role supports a 36-hour weekly schedule with on-call requirements, starting at 8am.

Requires high school diploma and completion of an accredited echocardiography program, with RCCS/RCS/RDCS certification within 12 months, plus BLS and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or equivalent education.
• Certification in adult echocardiography (RCCS/RCS/RDCS) within 12 months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo, Stress Echo, TEE, and Doppler studies.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP, Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside.
• Complete technologist reports in the structured report application.
