Job summary

North Memorial Health seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to support our Accredited Echo Lab. You will work with cardiologists on cardiology patients, including outpatients, inpatients, and off-campus sites, with after-hours on-call coverage as required.

The role requires RDCS/RCS or registry-eligible status, an associate or bachelor’s degree in echocardiography, and BLS. On-site work with opportunities for growth and additional training are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program.
• Registered as a cardiac sonographer- RDCS or RCS.
• Registry eligible will be considered.
• At least 1 year of previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound testing in the Accredited Echo Lab, including outpatients, off-campus sites and inpatients with hospital coverage.
• Assist cardiologist with 2D & 3D transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
• Operate and maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
