You will collaborate with care teams, document results in the EMR, and support timely interpretation by cardiologists. RDMS certification and BCLS are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquires stress echo and Dobutamine images within required timelines.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and ensures safety.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; prepares work areas.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient information in EMR, maintaining confidentiality.
• Verifies patient identity, orders and consents before procedures.
• Collaborates with cardiologists to support timely interpretation.
• Demonstrates age-specific care and adapts imaging techniques as needed.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to policies.
