Job summary

ECHO Tech in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with independent judgment, ensuring patient safety and accurate images for physician evaluation.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams, assist with TEEs, document results in the EMR, and uphold quality standards. Benefits include a $6K sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience.
• RDMS or RDCS preferred; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, Doppler, M-mode) per standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Obtains quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images with rapid post-exercise acquisition.
• Assists physicians with TEEs, ensuring safe imaging.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient data in EMR.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and ensures readiness for patient care.
