Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two year allied health program focused on patient care preferred.

• Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Performs technically proficient 2D, M-mode and Doppler echocardiograms.
• Coordinates scheduling, transport, billing data entry and interdepartmental communications.
• Assists cardiologist during exams and documents pertinent diagnostic information.
• Delivers and retrieves dictations and communicates with physicians and nurses as needed.
• Maintains equipment quality, orders supplies and ensures room readiness.
