Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a part-time Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and Doppler echo in adults and/or pediatrics. You will maintain PI documentation, adhere to safety goals, and support billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Sonography-Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) and BLS.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of Clinical Echo experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in all cardiac echo procedures and documents results per protocol.
• Explain procedures clearly to patient and family members.
• Prioritize workload and address urgent cases promptly.
• Identify conditions that affect test quality and report them.
• Input data accurately to charge patient-generated charges; maintain records.
