Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiography across inpatient and outpatient populations. The role includes transthoracic exams (including 3D and strain), stress testing, and assistance with transesophageal echo procedures.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Sonography with an Echocardiography specialty, and RDCS/CCI eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technology or Medical Sonography with Echocardiography specialty.
• RDCS or RCS credential (ARDMS/CCI) or eligible for certification.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and related studies including color flow, spectral, 3D, Strain and stress echo.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
