Job summary

MyMichigan Health is looking for a skilled ultrasound technologist to operate diagnostic equipment and conduct cardiac exams. The role involves responsibilities like performing Doppler testing, EKGs, and maintaining patient safety practices. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in sonography, have appropriate certifications, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Quality improvement participation is also expected, alongside compliance with infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
• Valid ARDMS credentials for Ultrasound Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Operates cardiac diagnostic ultrasound machine to obtain required views.
• Performs color-flows and pulsed wave Doppler testing.
• Handles holter monitoring set up and possible scanning.
• Conducts EKGs and assists with cardiac stress testing.
