Job summary

Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM seeks an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with independent judgment to obtain clear images for physician interpretation. You will ensure patient safety and comfort, assist with TEEs and stress imaging as needed, maintain equipment, and document preliminary findings in the EMR, supporting high-quality patient care.

1–3 years of echocardiography experience and RDMS/BCLS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• RDMS/BCLS certifications preferred or required.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging including 2-D, M‑mode and Doppler.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies including 2-D imaging, M‑mode and Doppler recordings.
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) ensuring safety and imaging quality.
• Maintains equipment and room readiness for patient care.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR.
