Qualifications

• 1–3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience required.
• RDMS certification or CHEA-recognized equivalent required.
• BCLS certification within 7 days of employment required.
• RDCS or RCS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies (2-D, M‑mode, Doppler) per standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Document preliminary reports and patient information in EMR.
• Verify patient identity, orders and consents before procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and cardiologists for timely interpretation.
