Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with attention to patient safety and comfort. You will work with cardiologists and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate reporting.

The role requires 1–3 years of echocardiography experience and certification such as RDMS, with RDCS/RCS preferred. Strong communication and EMR documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography
• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler)
• Strong communication and teamwork with healthcare staff
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment safely and adhere to infection control

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies with 2-D, M-mode, and Doppler.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images within required times.
• Assist physicians with TEEs and image optimization.
• Document results and patient information in EMR with confidentiality.
