Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; ARRT(S), RDMS/RDCS registration preferred.
• Completion of CPR/BLS required.
• Must be registered in cardiology specialties within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and stress echocardiograms per physician orders.
• Record quality information and follow protocols.
• Explain procedures and potential side effects to patients/families.
• Provide echocardiography services across locations and on-call as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare preliminary reports for cardiologist review.
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain logs.
