Job summary

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI cardiac/vascular sonography certification required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; education from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency for department-specific protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff, physicians, patients.
• Prepare patients, educate on procedures, transport patients and ensure safety and comfort.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and document results; ensure quality outcomes.
• Mentor caregivers and students in equipment use and procedural technique.
• Handle charge codes for exams and supplies; clean and maintain equipment and area.
