Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking an Echo Tech - Cardiac Sonographer to perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, Stress and Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and to assist with related diagnostic cardiology tasks.

The role requires ARDMS/RCS credentials or eligibility, BLS certification, and an Associate Degree in cardiology sonography with experience in echocardiography and vascular studies. Supervision of students may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiology sonography preferred.
• RCS certification or 6 months to obtain after hire for transfers/new hires.
• Registered or eligible for credentialing as an Echocardiographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Process all orders and reports for the echocardiography lab.
• Assist in other diagnostic cardiology duties (EKG, Holter) as directed.
