Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent cardiovascular ultrasound training.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality and optimize studies.
• Document examination findings and complete records.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide testing education.
• Communicate critical findings to the healthcare team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure QA standards.
• Support accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and service.
