Job summary

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS-AE or CCI RCS registration within 1 year or 6 months for BLS where required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless waived.
• Completion of an accredited sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound studies (M‑mode, 2‑D, Doppler, Color Flow) with high quality results.
• Identify cardiac abnormalities and extend exam scope as appropriate.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and adapt imaging techniques for diagnostic studies.
• Assist in transesophageal studies with cardiologist; calculate measurements; maintain sterility.
• Communicate findings to staff and collaborators efficiently.
• Record statistics and maintain Echocardiography Lab equipment; report malfunctions.
• Provide age-appropriate care and apply growth/development knowledge per policy.
