Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and support physicians in cardiac diagnosis. The role is based in Aston Township, PA, with a 7:30a–4p shift, no weekends or holidays, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Doppler echocardiograms, stress tests, IV starts, and accurate data entry in the Epic/Ascend system. ARDMS/RCVT certification and CPR are required or eligible. Salary range posted accordingly.

Qualifications

• Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms.
• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality echocardiograms for adult and geriatric populations.
• Rotates to all Cardiac Diagnostic Centers as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms.
• Performs stress echocardiograms.
• Performs IV starts for Dobutamine stress testing.
• Present completed echocardiograms to physicians.
• Obtain accurate patient study information in the clinical care system.
• Maintain CPR and inservice education credentials.
• Adhere to safety rules and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
