Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer to join our team on a full-time, day shift.

The echocardiographer will perform 2D echo, Doppler, stress echo, and transesophageal echo, working across the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP/Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside care.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, Adult echocardiography registry within 12 months of hire, BLS and ACLS within 90 days, and a minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.

Qualifications

• Performs 2D echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
• Completes technologist report in the structured report application.
• Works across Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP/Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside.

Responsibilities

• Perform echo and stress echo tests including Doppler and TEE.
• Assist across non-invasive and invasive cardiac labs and bedside care.
• Document findings in the reporting system.
