Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pediatric Echocardiography Technician to perform pediatric echocardiograms across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will interpret images, recognize cardiac defects, and support imaging in emergencies in ICU, ED, cath lab, and OR, while ensuring accurate reports and compliant billing.

The role requires advanced sonography training, ARDMS/CCI pediatric registry status within 12 months, and BLS/CPR certification, with a sign-on bonus opportunity and a Greensboro,

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in sonography is required.
• RDCS_AE or RCS certification must be obtained within 1 year.
• Must obtain pediatric registry status within 12 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Interpret images, differentiate artifacts, and assess cardiac anatomy.
• Perform emergency exams in ICU, ED, cath lab, and OR as needed.
• Complete reports in the electronic system and manage billing.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and exam area readiness.
