Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an Echosonographer to join Trios Health, a Lifepoint Health facility. The role focuses on diagnostic echocardiography including Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo with responsibilities spanning imaging procedures and compliance with radiology policies.

Requires RDCS/RVT eligibility, BLS, and 1+ year of echocardiography experience. This PRN/union opportunity offers benefits and the chance to contribute to community health within our diagnostic imaging

Qualifications

• Post high school training and/or education. - Required
• Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Licenses: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registry Eligible. Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Must be registered within two (2) years' of start date.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Echocardiography, Stress echo, and Transesophogeal technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic Echocardiography examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Performs or is willing to learn all procedures associated with cardiac sonography i.e. Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo.
• Performs all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.
• Follows all radiology policies and procedures.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Diagnostic Imaging.
