Job summary

Trios Health is seeking an Echosonographer to perform diagnostic Echocardiography and related procedures. The role includes responsibilities in the Diagnostic Imaging department, adherence to radiology policies, and patient-centered care within the Tri Cities community.

Minimum one year in echocardiography with required BLS, and RDCS/CCI RVT eligible license status; two-year registration window is expected. The position offers diverse benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Post high school training or education; required
  • Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.
  • Certifications: BLS within 30 days of hire.
  • Licenses: RDCS or Registry Eligible; CCI; RVT.
  • Must be registered within two (2) years' of start date.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Echocardiography, Stress echo, and Transesophogeal technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic Echocardiography examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
  • Performs or is willing to learn all procedures associated with cardiac sonography i.e. Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo.
  • Performs all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.
  • Follows all radiology policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Diagnostic Imaging.

An Echosonographer who excels in this role:

What we're looking for

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Additional requirements include:

  • Post high school training and/or education. - Required
  • Graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Licenses: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registry Eligible.
    Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Must be registered within two (2) years' of start date.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Echocardiography, Stress echo, and Transesophogeal technology preferred.
