Job summary

Atria Health and Research Institute seeks a skilled cardiac sonographer to perform echocardiograms and exercise stress tests, delivering precise assessments for cardiology review. Apply knowledge of anatomy and imaging to optimize results while collaborating with our clinical team to support wellness and patient outcomes.

The role requires RDCS or RCS certification, 5+ years of experience, BLS/CPR, and CME maintenance.

Qualifications

Certification: Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI).
Education: Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
Experience: 5+ years of clinical cardiac experience; Lead/Charge/Senior experience preferred.
Life Support: BLS/CPR required; ACLS preferred.
Maintain CMEs to keep credentials active.

Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
Provide expert assessment and preliminary interpretation for review by cardiologist.
Optimize ultrasound image quality via anatomy and imaging technique knowledge.
Collaborate with clinical team to promote wellness and outcomes.
Maintain lab equipment and supplies; perform ad-hoc duties as needed.
Independent role with minimal supervision; troubleshoot tech issues.
Monitor vitals and maintain daily procedure log.
