Required RDCS or CCI certification, an associates degree (bachelor's preferred) in allied health, and 2 years of cardiac ultrasound experience (7 years if education is equivalent).

Qualifications

• RDCS or ARDMS/CCI certification required for cardiology sonography.
• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years cardiac sonography experience; 7 years if education is equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Maintain required competencies and participate in research projects.
• Provide preliminary reporting to cardiologists and assist imaging interpretation.
