Job summary

UnityPoint Health Des Moines is seeking an Echocardiography RN to join our expanding cardiac care team. In this role you will assist with TEEs, cardioversions, and stress tests, delivering skilled nursing care before, during, and after procedures, and collaborating with physicians, sonographers, and the broader team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Iowa licensure.
• Current RN licensure in good standing; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 1 year ICU/ER or procedural experience; cardiac experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with TEEs, cardioversions and stress tests; provide nursing care before, during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, sonographers and the cardiovascular team.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support patient safety and outcomes.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and participate in in-service education.
