Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is looking for a qualified professional to work in collaboration with the Cardiac testing specialist. This role involves providing diagnostic cardiac stress tests and conducting various noninvasive cardiac testing such as EKGs, Holter, event and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have completed an accredited allied health or medical assistant program, with a preference for those holding an Associate’s degree in exercise or health science. Candidates must also possess relevant experience in a cardiology healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years in a cardiology healthcare setting, experience as an EMT or Medical Assistant.
• Experience in EKG or stress testing preferred.
• CCI certification eligible; certified Cardiographic Technician certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic cardiac stress tests.
• Perform noninvasive cardiac testing including EKGs and Holter monitoring.

Education

Completion of an accredited allied health, medical assistant program or equivalent

Associate’s degree in exercise or health science preferred
