Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Cardio-diagnostic Technologist to perform noninvasive and invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, monitoring, and stress testing under physician direction.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, reviewing medical history, triaging EPIC messages, and supporting clerical tasks to keep the department efficient and accurate. A Life Sciences degree and cardio tech certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences.
• Certification in Cardiovascular Technology or Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardio-diagnostic testing under physician/RN supervision.
• Room patients for visits and monitor vital signs during testing.
• Apply Holter and Event Monitoring systems per MD order.
• Prepare charts and conduct pre-procedural calls; triage EPIC messages.
