Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a dedicated professional to perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures, including exercise and pharmacological stress tests, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and related EKGs. You will prepare patients, monitor during procedures, and ensure accurate data collection for physician interpretation.

The role requires applying professional judgment within department standards, maintaining safety, and coordinating with the care team to deliver

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate program in Cardiovascular Technology or Exercise Science preferred.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Completion of cardiac-related training/certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer treadmill and pharmacological stress testing protocols.
• Monitor and interpret EKG tracings; ensure patient safety during tests.
• Provide patient care and prepare data for physician interpretation.
• Perform ECGs and manage data entry in EMR.
• Maintain and troubleshoot noninvasive cardiology equipment.
• Schedule procedures and handle related clerical tasks.
• Train or precept new staff; contribute to ongoing competency.
