Job summary

Independence Health System seeks an on-site health technician to perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, including 12-lead EKG, Holter and stress testing for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. You will assist physicians with exercise and pharmacological stress protocols, and ensure accurate data entry and reports into the patient record.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate complex information to diverse patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication of complex topics to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and conduct 12-lead EKG and other tests.
• Collect vitals and perform stress testing per protocol.
• Document all findings and ensure reports are signed and distributed.
