Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a skilled ECG Technician to perform non-invasive cardiac tests, including 12-lead EKG, Holter, and Event Monitoring for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. The role will assist physicians and healthcare professionals in stress tests and related cardiac procedures.

You will prepare patients, manage monitoring equipment, document results, and maintain supplies while ensuring safety and compliance throughout the testing process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership ability and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Attend on-site and be timely and reliable.
• Interview patients and identify contraindications to exercise or pharmacological testing.
• Prepare patient per protocol and document vitals and history.
• Attach electrodes and leads correctly, and monitor during tests.
• Explain tests and respond to patient questions during the procedure.
• Ensure proper documentation and distribution of reports.
