Mercyhealth seeks a Cardiac Device Specialist for our Rockford, IL site to perform face-to-face patient visits for interrogation, re-programming, and rhythm interpretation of implanted devices, plus remote checks. You will document in EMR and maintain patient databases, delivering safe, team-based care with physicians.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, ADN required with BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS with departmental certifications such as ACLS/PALS.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required in state of practice; BSN preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/CPR/BLS or equivalent certifications per department.

Responsabilidades

• Interrogates, re-programs, and interprets data from implanted pacemakers and defibrillators.
• Performs remote device checks and maintains accurate documentation in EMR.
• Delivers patient education and coordinates care with physicians and the care team.
• Adheres to nursing processes, standards of care, and departmental policies.
