Job summary

Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) invites applications for a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting. You will support clinicians, manage patient flow, and handle routine examinations with focus on cardiovascular care.

Under supervision, you will document patient interactions, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain clean, stocked rooms while adhering to infection control standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within sixty (60) months of hire.
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in in-office and off-site clinic locations following OHH policies.
• Manage patient flow by rooming patients, taking medical histories, and recording vitals.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing in a cardiovascular outpatient setting.
• Prepare, clean, stock, and maintain examination and treatment rooms; sterilize equipment.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medications to support continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
