Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist I at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver to support cardiac catheterization procedures with supervision and increasing independence. You will assist in invasive, diagnostic, and interventional workflows, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS or PALS as required; must obtain within 3 months of start
• Bachelor's degree in health sciences or related field and health care experience
• Graduate from Radiologic/Cardiovascular/Nursing programs or equivalent with approved credentials
• 1 year health care experience in Cath Lab/EP/Surgical tech
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to document measurements accurately
• Current license or credential per state requirements
• Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification as needed
• State-specific radiologic licenses where applicable

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in diagnostic, interventional, and CRM procedures
• Document data entry and imaging studies; participate in hemodynamic calculations
• Assist in procedure room prep and post-procedure turnaround
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot CCL equipment
• Possess knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology and pharmacology; assess patient condition during procedures
• Mix and administer medications under physician supervision where permitted
• Achieve hemostasis and manage vascular access sites post-procedure
• Maintain documentation of all procedures and events
• Develop competence in CCL labs and QA activities
