Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver seeks a CV Invasive Specialist II to support catheterization procedures in the interventional lab. The role requires operating room coordination, imaging and hemodynamic tasks, and patient education under physician guidance.

The CVIS II will work with the clinical team in a fast-paced setting at Saint Joseph Hospital, contributing to high-quality care while meeting regulatory and credentialing requirements, including RCIS/RCES or ARRT-CI/VI by 2026.

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare providers.
• PALS for children’s hospitals or ACLS for adults; must obtain within 3 months of start.
• Beginning July 1, 2026 must be RCIS or RCES or ARRT-CI or ARRT-VI or RN (relevant experience).
• Demonstrated expertise in performing complex diagnostic and advanced interventional procedures or related electrophysiology experience.
• At least 12 hours CME credits per year.
• Must meet state requirements including Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification and Fluoroscopy Operator Certification (as required).

Responsibilities

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in diagnostic, interventional, and CRM procedures.
• Complete procedure data entry and imaging studies; prepare reports.
• Orient and train staff; provide preceptor supervision.
• Provide staff education in Skills Day Workshops.
• Assist with procedural preparation and post-procedure turnaround.
