Job summary

Pride Global is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a teaching hospital in Chicago. The RN will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

The role includes moderate sedation, critical drip management, patient monitoring, and circulating during cases. Candidates must handle STEMI/NSTEMI situations and participate in call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Strong Cardiac Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional experience.
• Ability to administer and monitor moderate sedation using Versed and Fentanyl.
• Experience managing critical IV drips.
• Ability to monitor and circulate Cath Lab cases.
• Experience with high-acuity and emergency cardiac procedures.
• Must be comfortable participating in the required call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Moderate sedation and critical drip management.
• Monitor patients and circulate during Cath Lab cases.
• Emergency response and pre/post-procedure care.
• Work with STEMI/NSTEMI high-acuity cases.
• Be part of weekday/weekend call rotation.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

The RN will be responsible for moderate sedation, critical drip management, patient monitoring, circulating procedures, emergency response, and pre/post-procedure care. Candidates should be comfortable working with high-acuity cardiac patients, including STEMI and NSTEMI cases.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

An experienced Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of recent experience and previous travel experience, proficient in moderate sedation, critical drips, monitoring/circulating, STEMI/NSTEMI, LHC/RHC, PCI, Impella, IABP, temporary pacemakers, and other high-acuity interventional cardiac procedures. Must hold BLS and ACLS and be comfortable with a substantial weekday/weekend call rotation.
