Job summary

Northwest Houghton is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization procedures and provide safe patient care throughout the Cath Lab experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience and proficiency with Cerner and Mac-Lab, plus BLS/ACLS certifications and on-call rotation participation. Shift schedule is 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring Cath Lab procedures.
• Experience with Mac-Lab.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Ability to participate in a significant on-call rotation.

Job description

Northwest Houghton is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will primarily be responsible for circulating and monitoring cardiac catheterization procedures, providing safe and effective care to patients throughout their Cath Lab experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, strong knowledge of cardiac procedural nursing, and experience working with Cerner and Mac-Lab.

Required Experience

• Experience circulating Cath Lab procedures
• Experience monitoring Cath Lab procedures
• Experience with Mac-Lab
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Ability to participate in a significant on-call rotation

Schedule

Regular Shift:

• Days
• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

On-Call Requirements

• Approximately 9–10 days of call per month
• Candidate must be comfortable participating in the Cath Lab call rotation.
