Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. The role supports the Cardiac Cath Lab with radiographic imaging, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during interventional procedures.

IR or Cath Lab experience is preferred, new grads encouraged to apply, with 2 ten-hour shifts on days. Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, patient education, equipment QC, and maintaining safety and confidentiality while

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or <2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience and radiology work.
• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology as required by state law.
• State licensure/certification as applicable.
• BLS/ACLS; PALS as required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiographic procedures per department policies.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and timelines.
• Produces high quality images and documents the findings.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures when applicable.
• Performs quality control and maintains equipment safety.
• Maintains ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards in radiology.
• Ensures efficient workflow and inventory to avoid interruptions.
• Interacts with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
