Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech PRN to support lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, and help prepare patients and families with care and reassurance throughout the journey.

You will operate advanced cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and safeguard a sterile environment while advocating for every patient.

Qualifications

• BLS/ALS within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification or RCIS/ARRT-CI required or in progress.
• CVT with RCIS and 1 year experience preferred.
• 1+ year Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for patient needs.
