Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist PRN to join our cath lab team. You will assist physicians in complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while guiding patients and families through the care journey.

You will operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and safeguard a sterile environment to deliver high-quality, compassionate care expected by our patients and team.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification and an Associate Degree in a relevant field are required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or RCIS credential is required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines after start date.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operating and maintaining advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while advocating for every patient.
