Job summary

Parkland Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (PRN) to join our team. In this role, you will assist physicians with critical cardiac procedures and support patients through their care journeys. Candidates need at least 1 year of experience and must obtain ACLS certification within 30 days of starting.

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (PRN) at Parkland Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare.

In this role, you’ll stand alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. With access to state‑of‑the‑art cath lab technology and a supportive team, you’ll be empowered to deliver safe, high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

Qualifications

• 1 year experience required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Radiation Therapy (RadTherapy) or Radiation Therapist credential
• Associate Degree
• ARRT‑R Radiography or RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
