Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience required.
• Previous Cardiac Cath and/or Special Procedures training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proper use of diagnostic/interventional radiographic equipment.
• Delivers safe and effective direct patient care.
• Acts as Radiation Safety Officer in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Skills

Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms

ACLS/BCLS Certification

Knowledge of radiological procedures

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Registered Radiology Technology

Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)

Cardiovascular specialist, RT (CV) registration within 2 years
