Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Special Procedures Tech to provide expert support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. You will follow departmental standards and assist with patient care under physician supervision in a fast-paced Cath Lab setting.

The ideal candidate has RT licensure, radiology education, and 2+ years of interventional experience, with on-call duties 8-11 days/month and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Solid academic standing.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Letter of recommendation from instructor.
• RT Boards within 6 months of graduation to continue employment.
• Employee will start at base salary entry level.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Implement procedural standards and protocols.
• Provide patient care tailored to procedural requirements and patient needs.
• Support and educate patients, families, and healthcare team members.
