Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to support interventional physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiography. You will maintain sterile technique, document in Meditech, verify PACS images, and manage radioactive waste according to regulations.

Qualified candidates hold RT(R) with ARRT, current BLS, and ACLS within six months. Neuro experience is a plus; role includes rotating call and cross-training in the cath lab.

Qualifications

• Licensed or registryed radiologic technologist with ARRT RT(R) certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required/within six months of hire.
• Experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab or EP Lab preferred.
• Neuro experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare sterile tray setups for procedures.
• Accurately document exams in Meditech and verify images in PACS.
• Measure and dispose of radioactive waste per regulatory guidelines.
• Cross-train in the cardiac cath lab and participate in rotating call schedule.
