Job summary

The Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Radiologic Technologist to perform complex catheterization procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role involves operating X-ray and imaging systems, preparing patients, and assisting physicians during interventions such as stent placements and balloon angioplasty.

Applicants should have graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• BLS and ACLS.
• Experience depends on staffing and business unit need.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document procedures in clinical systems accurately and completely.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during procedures.
• Assist physician in catheter interventions and device deployments.
• Maintain radiation safety and equipment readiness for procedures.
